Early Dental Exams & Cleanings

Dental Examination

These dental checkups allow our clinicians to monitor your child's oral development, identify any potential issues early and address any questions you may have. This includes checking for proper tooth eruption, signs of decay, and gum health.

Dental Prevention

We share oral hygiene habits, advise need of fluoride use or application and address concerns with tooth development to prevent potential issues such as dental decays, gum problem and misaligned teeth.

Dental Sealants

These are protective coatings that are applied to chewing surfaces of the back teeth which acts as a barrier to prevent food and bacteria from sitting on the grooves of the teeth leading to dental decays.

Dental Fillings

They are needed when teeth are spotted with decays where they would be cleaned out to prevent progression and restored thereafter

Root Canal Treatment

This is a process of removal of the infected or damaged nerve tissue to prevent further infection. This is done especially to prevent premature extraction especially in younger patients where their affected baby teeth will only change out years later.

Dental Extraction

Removal of infected teeth are often required when majority of the tooth structure has broken down. Sometimes, in cases where patients are presented with swelling or pain, extraction would be a more preferred choice.

FAQ on Children’s Dentistry

From assessing the condition of your teeth to evaluating the health of your gums. We answer your questions even further upon examination in our clinic.

When can I bring my kid to the dental clinic?

You can start bringing your kids to visit the dental professional once their first teeth erupt in their mouth!

What will happen if it's my kid’s first time to a dental visit?

Don’t worry, we got you! We will get your kid familiarized with the environment and equipment before commencing any treatment. This takes time, so baby steps!

Are baby teeth important?

Of course! They are the epitome of how adult teeth come into place. Losing baby teeth at an early stage increases the chance that adult teeth do not erupt in their supposed spot. Thus, there is a chance a patient would require orthodontic treatment in the future.

My baby drinks milk to sleep, what should I do?

If your child falls asleep after milk consumption, it is recommended to use a wet towel to wipe their teeth and gums before letting them sleep through the night. This is to ensure the sugar and plaque present in the oral cavity would not cause dental decays.

How much toothpaste should I let my kid use?

Not too much, just a pea size will do!
